Nicola Elliott

Nicola Elliott is a choreographer-director, performer and dance educator. She works in the fields of dance-theatre, physical theatre and contemporary performance, approaching meaning-making via performer ‘presence’ and crafting. She is known for her intellectual rigour, wit and irony and her work aims to create shifts in the viewer’s state of being.

Nicola holds a Masters degree in Drama, specialising in Choreography, from Rhodes University (2010) and was the recipient of the prestigious Standard Bank Young Artist Award for Dance (2014). Nicola creates and teaches in Cape Town.
