Umzekelo Drama Group

The Umzekelo Drama Group was founded in 2009 by the Sex Workers Education and Advocacy Taskforce (SWEAT). Through its activities, it demystifies a marginalised and stigmatised group, and counters public stereotypes by showing sex workers as having knowledge and concern about a variety of pressing social issues including gender-based violence, substance abuse, HIV/AIDS and poverty.
