Zee Hartmann
Zee Hartmann graduated in 2004 with her BA in Theater Arts and Dance at Beloit College in Wisconsin. In 2005, she travelled to Moscow with Chelonia Dance Company as a soloist to perform in the Festival of Choreographic Collectives, for which they received grand prix accolades. She received her MFA in Dance at Sarah Lawrence College, New York, in 2011.
Zee was awarded Best Choreography prize at the 2012 Fresh Fruit LGBT Dance Festival, New York. During this period, she worked full time as a dance archivist and historian for Twyla Tharp. She has taught extensively and is the Artistic Director and Founder of The Line & Light Dance Collective in Cape Town.
