Euridice Getulio Kala

Euridice Getulio Kala joins Infecting the City all the way from Maputo, Mozambique where she currently works across multiple media including performance, video, sculptural-lyrics, installations and photography.  Having formally trained as a photographer, Kala has shown her work and participated in residencies both locally and in her home country of Mozambique as well as internationally, including the Dakar’t 12^th Edition.  Her interests lie in historical and cultural metamorphoses, manipulations and adaptations across both broader and personal histories and often times converging with the contemporary context.
