Disability provisions at ITC2019
Most performances are wheelchair friendly and accessible. Please note the following specific provisions:
At this programme of self-guided installations there are available parking bays closer to the programming sites at Riebeek Square Parking Lot. Parkopedia has good maps & tarrifs.
There will be a shuttle from UCT’s Hiddingh Campus to District Six and St George’s Cathedral for the 9pm performance.
Street parking available on all the routes, however there are city centre parking marshalls managing the available slots and there are on a first come first serve basis. Parkopedia has good maps & tarrifs.
Full access to most performances at the Castle of Good Hope except performances upstairs that last around 45 minutes so the site itself is not entirely disability friendly. The third-century old building is preserved without alterations and at this point no lifts have been built.
Should you require any assistance with seeing specific performances on the programme, please approach the USHERS and TECHNICIANS in red t-shirts and the CURATORS whose images appear in the programmes that are available both online and in the various performance sites as free handouts.
