Henry O’Tawiah is a dancer and choreographer (hiphop, locking, popping, experimental) and co-founder of Dutch Soul Supply, a Funk Style collective. He started his career as Bboy, locker, hiphopper and collaborated with hiphop giants such as Storm, Salah, Poppin, Pete and Don ‘Campbell Lock’ Campbell. His recent work has been more experimental, drawing his inspiration from contemporary dance and traditional dance styles. In theatre, O’Tawiah has worked with Het Nationaal Ballet (Monique Duurvoort), Cirque du Soleil (Delirium), ISH and Alida Dors. He choreographed the Dutch Soul Sistas for a show with Gregory Porter at North Sea Jazz festival, and created a research performance of Boom Zonder Wortels in 2018, mentored by Alida Dors and Nora Chipaumire.
