Resilience

Resilience tells the true and complicated story of a South African born LGBTI member and activist who was raised in the strict Setswana culture. Inevitably, the stories of LGBTI people in settings such as these are not shared or documented; neither are they celebrated. This work shines a light on  gender expression, cultural identity, and hate crimes . The work also allows the body to see itself in its most beautiful form and presence.
