Caught in the Crossfire

Caught in the Crossfire reflects on the complex “push-pull” relationship between the various spheres of life. A circle, drawn on the floor, is divided into four sections. Each section represents an aspect which contributes to the construction of identity -  tradition/culture,  femininity/sexuality, education and religion. During the performance, the artist jumps from one section of the circle to another, using movement to explore the relationship she has (or should have) with the props on stage.
