The Portait

By: iQhiya

In The Portait, female performers stand on bottles in crates for as long as they can endure. When performers decide that they have had enough, they step down and proceed to take bottles from the crates they were standing on. Inserting pieces of cloth into the  bottles, they turn the bottles into weapons... petrol bombs. Positioned as if they are ready to fight back, the performance ends. The petrol bombs will remain in place, where the women once stood, for the duration of the installation.
