What Do I Tell History?

What Do I Tell History?

By: Vasiki Creative Citizens

What Do I Tell History? is a video installation that writes letters to history - grappling with the stark contradictions of the poetry in the South African constitution and lived experiences. It attempts to locate something about the present, as a way to navigate historical narratives that unlock the potentiality of the future.

What Do I Tell History? includes the following works:
Bonolo Kavula - You Must Be Exhausted
Buhlebezwe Siwani - Imfazwe Yenkaba
Sethembile Msezane’s - Untitled (Youth Day)
RealTalkSA - Black Pain and Social Death

DATE TIMEFRAME DURATION LOCATION
Tue 9th Aug 12:00 - 16:00 Ongoing during Session 3 Old Pass Office Museum, Langa
