Tamryn Pelser and SOMA_Movement

Founder and Director of SOMA_Movement Company, Tamryn Pelser is no stranger to Infecting the City having taken part in last year’s sessions.  As a performer, director, dancer and choreographer, Pelser has been involved in productions both locally and abroad and continues work on projects with social commentary and activism at their core.  In 2015 Pelser choreographed Push Hands 1 with Line&Light Dance Collective and was a company member of Darkroom Contemporary following choreographic involvement in the Dance Umbrella’s production of Waiting for Godot.

SOMA_Movement aims to change the current exclusivity of therapy and make it accessible to all. The company members aim to promote taking breaks, rest, healthy movement, recreation and a secular guidance for all people.
