Locked Doors, Behind Doors
By: Sbonakaliso Ndaba
Set on the dancers of Indoni Dance Arts and Leadership Academy, Locked Doors, Behind Doors is a new and passionate work exploring the realities and intimacies of invisible humans. Based on South Africa's silenced, almost forgotten, history of slave and migrant labour, the work connects memory and history with contemporary experiences of locked doors, behind doors.
This work has been developed in partnership with the Goethe-Institute South Africa as part of the Goethe - Institut Project Space.
