This project aims to map out sites of insurrection and moments of uprising\/change\/revolution. The walk functions as a kind of cartography as well as a timeline to think through how the city has been bruised or changed or fractured or made more clear through these kinds of moments. Over the course of the walk, the Repairs and Parts Collective will narrate via politically engaged music as well as podcasts and audio mixes that embody messages of solidarity, city and world making, and resistance from an African and Black perspective and production.
