Lurking in the Shadows

The sculptures reflect poignant psychological and emotional states that countless people have experienced especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through the vulnerable poses and the violent texture of the melted plastic, viewers grapple with the raw visual representation of anxiety and depression. As a result the sculptures have the ability to evoke deeper understanding, awareness, compassion and humility towards the psychological states expressed through visual form.
