Buhlebezwe Siwani and Chuma Sopotela

Buhlebezwe Siwani was raised in Johannesburg, but now lives and works in Cape Town. She completed her BAFA(Hons) at the Wits School of Arts in 2011 and her MFA at the Michealis School of Fine Arts (UCT) in 2015. Buhlebezwe has exhibited at the Michaelis Galleries, Commune 1 and Stevenson in Cape Town; in 13^th Avenue, Alexandra township;  and participated in a site-specific exhibition in collaboration with APEX Art, New York City.

Chuma Sopotela, is an actor, director, and performance artist. She graduated at the University of Cape Town with a Diploma in Performance Studies. Her performance pieces inkukhu Ibeke Iqanda, commissioned by the Zurich Theatre Spektakel, Limathu-mbantaka and Ngokomzekeliso wakhe, commissioned by Arstcape Theatre. Chuma is also currently part of the 1space project - a collaboration between KVS-Brussels, Alkantara-Portugal and Exodus-Slovenia focusing on multidisciplinary collaboration between Africa, Middle East and Europe.
