Odwa Bongo

Odwa Bongo is Simphiwe Dana and Mthwakazi’s prodigy. Named the Best Tenor Soloist of the Drakensberg Boys Choir School, he was also the vocalist for the Standardbank School’s Big Band. Bongo obtained his Diploma in Music at the University of Cape Town. Buffering juju by Dumama and Kechou is one of the best albums in 2020 and put  Odwa’s name in the local and international spotlight. He has shared the stage with, amongst many great South African artists, Zolani Mahola and Madosini. He is currently featured on the Youth Culture documentary series on SABC 1.
