Missing You Cape Town

During the hard lockdown, I obtained a permit to report as a journalist on Covid-19. It was quite depressing being in the quiet, dead city. I made a project “Missing You Cape Town” -a photo and video project, showing the empty spaces. With the placard "Missing You" painted in love-letter red, I wanted to send a message via social media to people trapped in their homes that the city misses them and that the city is not a city without its people. I posted the video and photos on social media. Now I would like to showcase it as a testament to that time.
