In October 2014, the Africa Centre launched a new partnership with the crowdfunding platform Thundafund to expand the scope and scale of artworks showcased in Infecting the City 2015. A selection of 10 artworks shortlisted for the 2015 Festival participated in the 6-week campaign from 31 October – 15 December 2014, with the goal of raising 50% of their production costs.
